Dear Editor:
As a sitting board member, I am asking everyone to join me on Tuesday, April 21, in voting for Theresa Minutillo, Ruth McAllister and Maureen Sullivan. These women have worked tirelessly to help all students in our district. They will work diligently to ensure that all students and all parents are treated fairly, equally and with respect regardless of where they live or what school they attend. They will require requests for proposals and requests for qualifications for all contracts to ensure that only the most qualified vendors and professionals are hired. And with Carrie Gilliard and me, we will comprise a majority on the Board of Education that is committed to continuing the great successes of the elementary school up through the middle and high schools as all our children deserve to succeed.
This is the only slate of candidates who we can rely on to keep their promises of making our district great and to meet the needs of all our children. If you want to see our district continue to thrive then you must vote 1-4-5 on Tuesday. Polls are open between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.
