Connors is a great man for school board

Dear Editor:
In this upcoming school board election here in Jersey City, I know for certain one candidate I’ll be voting for. He is a gentleman who every single time I call, he calls back.
He cares about the community, and he cares about the well being of the future of our community, the kids.
Sean Connors, a fellow Hudson Catholic alumni has been educated not only by the excellent Hawk faculty and Hudson Community but most importantly in the second to none Jersey City Police Academy. Additionally, the 40 plus lifelong years living in Jersey City is an education in itself, to say the least.
Sean Connors worked his way up through the rank and file earning each and every achievement he received.
A Hudson County Police Officer for four years, he was responsible for patrolling county roads, buildings and parks, serving and protecting the residents of Hudson County.
As a Jersey City Police Officer and Detective he continues to serve the people of Jersey City in various capacities, including community policing, narcotics and violent crimes, the Hudson County Prosecutors Task Force and Patrol Division.
He has had tremendous success on assignments such as Special Investigations.
Currently, Sean Connors is the Chief of Staff to Police Director Jefferson, overseeing community policing & relations, working closely with the Juvenile Bureau.
Sean Connors’ volunteer experience is lengthy. It includes but is not limited to St. Aedans Seniors, St. Josephs Seniors, Holy Rosary Seniors, North District Police Meeting, The Ancient Order of Hibernians, University Club, St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, Heights Hope, Friends of Pershing Field Flowers, Reservoir #2, Hague Street, St. Nicholas Parish, P.S. #8 and my favorite two, Nelson Avenue and St. Anne’s Parish.
Sean Connors deserves a position as a board member, most importantly, because he genuinely cares about people, especially children!
