Interment was on April 4 at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, for Salvatore J. Carbone, Jersey City, formerly of Elizabeth. He passed away April 2. He worked in the Jersey City Post Office for over 27 years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, and was a lifetime member of Kenilworth V.F.W and American Legion Post 165 (Mackenzie), Bayonne. He was the husband for 48 years of Nancy (nee Chiola); the father of John Carbone, and brother of Anne, Josephine and Florence.
