Jailed Ponzi perpetrator Bernard Madoff’s wife Ruth is one of nine owners of Hoboken Radiology, a radiology office near the PATH station, Bloomberg News reported late Tuesday.
And as with the couple’s other assets, the government may take over her share of the practice.
Ruth Madoff has not been accused of any crimes.
According to Bloomberg: “Assets sought by prosecutors include the Madoffs’ interest in Hoboken Radiology LLC. Ruth Madoff is one of nine members of Hoboken Radiology, a radiology practice in Hoboken, New Jersey, said Gary Berger, its administrator. She invested in the business in 2004, Berger said. He declined to say how much she invested.”
