Thank you for your front-page coverage of Bayonne’s Major League baseball player Joe Borowski.
Borowski is the one who officially sent the N.Y. Yankees packing in the 2007 American League Division Series. He earned the save in the deciding game. Where was his parade?
I met this good-looking, honest-looking young athlete several years ago when Pamrapo had a grand opening and he was signing photographs. I related to him that, as a teenager, I was a N.Y. Giant baseball fan and we laughed about how this old lady still remembered all of the players’ names and positions from that era.
Joe Borowski is one terrific role model for our young sports enthusiasts!
