Dear Editor:
I am a resident of 303 First St. in Hoboken. There was a fire at this location on January 15, 2009.
Words cannot express my gratitude toward the Hoboken Fire Dept. There was an emergency vehicle already in front of my apartment as I was exiting after hearing the alarms. The fire trucks followed within minutes. Their response and work were remarkable. Anyone I spoke to, in order to get information or to find a temporary place to keep warm, was exceptionally kind, respectful and helpful. When I say anyone, I mean the firemen, police and my building management employees.
Again a big thanks to everyone who was working and still working at the location.
