FRANTINO, SALVATORE M. A funeral mass was offered on Jan. 19 at Our Lady of Mercy Church for Salvatore M. Frantino, 73. He died Jan.15 at Hamilton Park Health Care Center, Jersey City. He was born in Jersey City and was a life long resident. He retired in 1998 as a sergeant with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. Prior to that, he was a shop steward with Air Reduction in Union for 20 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea. Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae (Werthwein); his brother Joseph; his children, Lori Ann, Ann Marie Blackman and Vincent; and four grandchildren.
