To the Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bayonne Public Works Director Gary Chmieliewski and Superintendent of Public Works, Parks and Recreation Jim Cilino for taking the time to talk about the recent improvements that have been made to the Sirius Dog Run and the improvements that have been planned for the dog run in the near future. I would like to thank Joe Cannarazzo, Vito Teglia, Jeffrey Booker, Lewis Arlington, and Thomas Walsh for their work on the items that have been added to the dog run.
It’s nice to know that after seven years the dog run has been in Bayonne, the Public Works Department continues to communicate with the residents that use the dog run and is responsive to their concerns. Although we may not agree on some issues, it is a perfect example of how the city government and citizens can work together for a common goal.
Again, thank you for all of your hard work and future commitment to the dog run.
