BARRY, WILLIAM R., SR. Funeral services and a mass were held Jan. 12 for
William R. Barry, Sr. He died Jan. 8. He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident. He served in the US Navy during World War II. A graduate of Seton Hall University, he was a Manager for J.P. Morgan/Chase Bank in New York for 30 years before retiring several years ago. A member of St. Aedan’s Church, Mr. Barry was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Parish Council. A former member of the Marist Father’s Club, he was also Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Greenville Council. Survivors include his wife Nancy; a daughter, Anita Whiting; two sons, William R. Jr. and Mark T. Barry; and seven grandchildren.
