DZIERZYNSKI, ALFRED. Mass for Alfred Dzierzynski, 82, native and lifelong resident of Jersey City, will be tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City. He died at home Nov 23. Dzierzynski was a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service in Jersey City and Secaucus for the past 23 years before retiring and a mechanic at American Can Co., Jersey City, for more than 25 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the USS Michigan. He was a member of the Steelworkers Union, the Mail Handlers Union and the 50 Plus Club at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Survivors include his wife, Theresa (Rendenna) Dzierzynski; four sons, Richard, Steven, Kenneth and Scott; three daughters, Doreen Puccio, Pamela Orbe and Cheryl Larino; a brother, Henry Derzinksi; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
