JAMISON, JOHN. Services for John Jamison, 81, of Jersey City, were held Oct. 21 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City. He died Oct. 16 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Jersey City. Born in South Carolina, Jamison lived in Jersey City since 1947. He was a deacon at Monumental. Survivors include his wife, Marian; two sons, Marlon C. and George B.; a daughter, Johnnie Mae Smith; five stepchildren, Ann Kelly, Janice Taylor, Maureen Scott, Joan Singleton and Darlene Scott; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
