MATTHEWS, ZANDER LEE. Mass for Zander Lee Matthews, 65, of Jersey City, was held Oct. 17 at Mt. Sinai Full Gospel Church, Jersey City. He died Oct. 12 at Jersey City Medical Center. He was born in Manning, S.C. Matthews was a welder for Manhattan Welding Co., Newark, for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Vivian D. Matthews; a daughter, Betina Horne; a granddaughter, Destinee Horne; three stepsons and 12 stepdaughters, 27 stepgrandchildren and four great-stepchildren.
