UVA, NICOLO. Mass for Nicolo Uva, 81, of Hoboken, was held Sept. 27 at St. Ann’s Church, Hoboken. He died Sept. 24 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Born in Molfetta, Italy, he lived in Hoboken for more than 50 years. Uva worked in the garment industry for many years. Survivors include his wife, Giovina; a daughter, Justine Uva Sgaramella, and her husband Richard; two sons, Anthony, and his wife Jean, and John Paul, and his wife Elizabeth; two sisters, Nina Palumbo and Ezia Messina; a brother, Damiano; and five grandchildren.
