CUMBERBATCH, ALEASE. Services for Alease (French) Cumberbatch, 84, of Hoboken, was held Sept. 26 at Failla Memorial Home. She died Sept. 23 at Hoboken University Medical Center. Born in North Carolina, she lived in Hoboken for more than 50 years. Cumberbatch worked for Eska Corp., Bayonne, for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Marie Taylor and Eletha Parker; a son, retired Hoboken Police Capt. Simeon Cumberbatch, and his wife Mary Pat; a sister, Hazel Lugo; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
