Pet of the week

ADOPT “JOHNSON” – Although I’m only a year and half old, I’ve bounced around the town. I arrived at Liberty Humane Society as a stray during a bitterly cold stretch in February. I was so friendly, I had obviously been someone’s pet.

But I was unneutered. A lot of folks adopt male kittens, figuring they don’t have to worry about getting us “fixed”. When we hit puberty and start marking territory, we are labeled “dirty” and tossed out on our ear. LHS made me a proper gentleman by neutering me. Because of my purrsonality and beautiful cream and white coloring, I was quickly adopted out.

Unfortunately, the kids in my new family developed allergies, so here I am, back again in the middle of Kitten Season. Since I am still young and as great with other cats as I am with people, I hope to be one of the lucky adult cats who get adopted during Kitten Season. I have even managed to get myself

promoted to Floor Cat. I am especially fond of hanging out with Pita and Fajita. Nothing purrsonal but as much as I enjoy the ladies, I’d trade it all to be back in a home again.

I know you’ll like me. I am so handsome, and blessed with such a sunny disposition. How can you resist? If you are interested in Johnson or any of our other pets, please contact Liberty Humane Society at 201-547-4147 or visit our website at libertyhumane.org.
