Trombetta fits Board of Ed

Dear Editor:

I can only imagine how much red tape board members sift through at meetings regarding budgets, policies, appointments and so many other matters. Important as they may be, their primary concern should always be the children and their welfare. Next week the board will add three new members, and I think Frank Trombetta should be one of them.

Frank’s involvement with youth organizations speaks for itself and none more notable or worthy than his tenure as President of the Secaucus Little League. He has been instrumental towards providing the town’s children with a safe and fair environment to learn and compete in. It may seem like only baseball to some but as current league President I can tell you that like the board, we too set policy and guidelines. Frank has dealt with hundreds of concerned parents over the years, and I have witnessed first hand the courteous and consistent manner in which he has done so. Decisions affecting children are never easy and require sound judgment and foresight. Those attributes will compliment the board and should affirm that Frank Trombetta is ready and able to continue and escalate his service to the town and its youth. This endorsement may seem personal but his credentials should appeal to all voters.
