President Bush, open your eyes

Dear Editor:

I recently saw a documentary by Pablo Gato who happens to be a very prestigious journalist from Spain. The story was about Hezbollah in Latin America. There is a place named “La Tierra de Nadie” (nobody’s land) which consists on three countries that share one border; Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. It is called nobody’s land because you are able to pass through the bridge to any of these countries without any documents or passport. In these countries (Brazil denied), there exists groups that belongs to Hezbollah.

In the Documentary there was one military who said he was born to die, not to live so he will follow the Hezbollah orders; he advises President Bush that if he orders to attack Iran the whole United States of America would pay and suffer the consequences and he reassured us that Iran had more bombs and militants than U.S.A. soldiers. Venezuela is involved too; they even have a web page with Hezbollah propaganda and Chavez pictures in. The way I see it is that Venezuela looks like a bridge to our destruction.

I recorded the documentary and watched it numerous times to understand why it is wrong for them to be Jewish (Mustaffa the militant said he will kill all the Jews). I understand there are problems with Israel but all Jewish are not Israeli, we come from all over the world, and we have no place to interfere with the President’s decision because he does not listen to anyone but himself.

Is he going to listen to these militants? Or is he going to keep sending our children to war to get hurt or killed in Iraq or Iran. I’m really terrified for my grandchildren and the world that lies ahead of them. The fear of living or waiting for these crazy people to attack is too overwhelming.

Come on Mr. President open your eyes and listen to the advice these people are sending you; we do not want to feel threatened. You started an unfair war and our children suffer the consequences. In a way President Bush you are destroying our families and our trust for this country’s government (blood for oil).

Let’s pray for peace,
Diana L. Uscocovitch
