Earth Day

Dear Editor:

The following are letters sent to us by students from Union City’s Washington School.

Dear Editor:
When Earth Day comes on April 22nd we are reminded that we all have a chance to save our world’s environment. People still need to continue recycling to conserve our world’s natural resources. We must be careful to continue not polluting our state’s air and water.

Sincerely,

Dear Editor:
Earth Day is coming on April 22nd and there are many things people can do to help the earth. We can pick up trash from our streets and not pour paint or oil down the drain because it will pollute our water supply. We can also tell our parents to carpool or take the bus to work sometimes to help save the ozone layer. We can also help conserve water by limiting our use of water at home.

Sincerely,

Dear Editor:
With the coming of Earth Day on April 22nd, there are a lot of things young people can do to help save the environment. We must all do everything we can to prevent global warming so the ice caps won’t melt. We have to protect our world for the future.

Sincerely,

Dear Editor:
With the coming of Earth Day on April 22nd, I think young people can do many things to improve the environment starting with their own neighborhoods and towns. For example, people can clean the streets and recycle their cans and newspapers. People should not do things to pollute the air and water. People need to help make our world a safer and healthier place to live.

Sincerely,

Dear Editor:
Earth Day is coming! All people must help the environment to help stop global warming. The ozone is disappearing because of all the pollution in the air. People need to recycle more to save our trees and other of the earth’s natural resources. This is our only home and all people need to take care of it. If we take care of the earth it will last longer and so will we.

Sincerely,
