Dear Editor:
I recently received the good news that both Union Hill and Emerson High School in Union City have seen a 20 percent improvement in their High School Proficiency Assessment scores. I feel it is of great importance to bring this to light and gave kudos to all of the administrators, principals, vice principals and especially the teachers, for doing an outstanding job teaching our students and motivating them to reach their potential.
I commend Mr. Sanger, Superintendent of Schools, for guiding the district and under whose leadership this was made possible. To the students, congratulations on a job well done! On behalf of my colleagues on the Board of Education, I want you to now how proud we are of you. Keep up the good work!
