Summertime…and the living is easy. After work, Hoboken residents can stroll down to Sinatra Park and enjoy free concerts by talented area musicians. It’s an opportunity to check out those bands you’ve been wanting to see – with no cover charge and no smoky bar. And the Manhattan skyline provides a dramatic backdrop.Hoboken’s Summer Enchanted Evenings Concert Series starts this Thursday, June 3, with a show by local singer-songwriter Kate Jacobs. Concerts take place every Thursday evening in June, July, and August at Sinatra Park. For a schedule of performances, see “In concert.”
For those with kids, there’s also a Tuesday evening series of shows at Shipyard Park in uptown Hoboken. These kid-friendly shows feature magicians, jugglers, sing-alongs, and more. But the Tuesday night lineup also includes a few acts that will attract the child-free as well. For more information, see “Kidstuff.”
