Dear Editor:
I would like to join with all other senior citizens to thank Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham and First Lady Sandra Bolden Cunningham and all of the other people who were responsible for the lovely senior picnic affair held this past week in the Jersey City Armory. Thank you to Joan and Larry Eccleston and all of the volunteers who really made our whole day very enjoyable.
The day started off in the morning and lasted into the afternoon with plenty of delicious food, music and fun among all of the senior citizens from all over the city. From the Heights to Greenville to Downtown – all over the city-over 2000 people enjoyed the day – Mayor Cunningham helps to bring us all together.
Mayor and your lovely wife and all involved in this day, God Bless you for taking time out to be with and have this party with us, your senior citizens.
