Dear Editor:
The moral integrity of Sen. Bernard Kenny was shown once again recently when he decided to change his church, rather than be communion-pressured by it to violate his oath of office as a democratically elected public official.
When a religion pressures officials elected by all the people to adopt and impose abortion its view of abortion (with other issues looming on the horizon if they are successful, such as contraception, divorce, the death penalty, tax supported school vouchers, etc.) it becomes theocracy, and in very extreme cases, inquisition; which is exactly what our forefathers acted to protect us from, by our 1st Amendment separation of church and state.
