Black Friday Valentine’s Dinner Party, an event for those in and out of love, will take place at the Back Room of the Shannon Lounge on First Street in Hoboken on Feb. 13. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and food and entertainment start at 8:15 p.m. An upscale menu of food will be served. A special selection of wine will also be available, some of it by the bottle. The event will be hosted by Simpsinatra, performing Sinatra songs. Entertainment includes an Anti-Valentine’s Day reading by the Hoboken Writers Group, the “P.T. Puppet Show,” a screening of the film Double Indemnity and then live Bosa Nova music by The band Las Vandelas. Only 60 tickets are available at $40.00 per person. Tickets include all food and entertainment, not including drinks. Each ticket holder will get their own seat at a candle lit table. Couples will have their own table.
