Sunday, Nov. 16:

Blues Jam with "Open Mic Night" hosted by Michael and Michelle takes place at Oddfellows in Hoboken at 8 p.m., and all service industry employees receive $1 off their booze.The All-Star Project, with special guest Illinois Slim, will take place at Scotland Yard at 8 p.m. Enjoy brunch at the Gaslight from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Denali and Sovenskya perform at Maxwell’s at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Monday, Nov. 17:

It’s "Employee Appreciation Night" at Hennessy’s from 8 p.m. to closing, featuring drink specials. Blues Jam with Big Ed Sullivan performs at Scotland Yard at 9:30 p.m. Country music night at Sullivan’s starting at 7 p.m. Monday Night Football drink specials at Willie McBride’s at 9 p.m. It’s Margarita Mondays at Baja. It’s happy hour all night at Oddfellows in Hoboken and Jersey City. Swingadelic performs at Maxwell’s at 9 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 18:

The showcase Frankenstein: Penetrating the Secrets of Nature will host its opening reception from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jersey City Free Public Library at 472 Jersey Ave. in Jersey City. Songwriters in the Round featuring Bill McGarvey, Girard DiNola, Adrian Freyre, Claire Cooper and Nancy Chamberlain takes place at Maxwell’s at 8 p.m. The event is free. There’s live acoustic music by Double Down at Onieal’s at 8:30 p.m. ArtKore, the open-mic night at Ristra, will roll from 8 p.m. to midnight. Sign-up begins at 7 p.m. The evening features live acoustic music, spoken word, comedy, poetry and improv. Visual art is displayed. There is no cover. It’s trivia night at Liberty Bar & Grill at 8 p.m. with DJ Lui, and a special beer tasting. The Hoboken Ski Club will meet at Willie McBride’s at 8 p.m. – don’t be late. It’s "Sabroso" night at Maxwell’s. It’s martini night at Three As. It’s Ladies Night with an ’80s theme at the Gaslight, with drink specials and Team Trivia. Mainline performs at the Whiskey Bar at 9 p.m. Third Tuesday performs at The Goldhawk at 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 19:

Debby Swartz and Courtney Lee Adams Jr. perform at The Goldhawk at 9 p.m. The Newspeed, Madjul and Sixty Cycle perform at the Whiskey Bar at 9 p.m. It’s Hump Day Hurricanes at Oddfellows Rest in Hoboken featuring $4 Hurricanes all night, and half-price martinis at Oddfellows Rest in Jersey City. It’s Open Jam with Chaz DePaolo at the Arena at George’s in Bayonne at 7 p.m. Green Rock Tap & Grill is hosting its weekly live music set at 9 p.m. Liberty Bar & Grill hosts their weekly Acoustic Music Showcase at 10 p.m., where there’s no cover, and a wine tasting at 7 p.m. Also, it’s Swing Night at Willie McBride’s beginning at 7:30 p.m. Team Trivia will take place at the Bar at 10th and Willow at 8 p.m. It’s "Martini Madness" at the Gaslight. All Martinis are half off. Will O’Connor will be at Dipper’s from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Modey Lemon and The Detachment Kit performs at Maxwell’s at 9 p.m. Tickets $6.

Thursday, Nov. 20:

The Blasting Caps and Blacksonny will perform at Uncle Joe’s in Jersey City at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5. The fabulous Eamonn Ryan Band will perform upbeat traditional Irish tunes and more at P.J. Ryan’s. Also, it’s "ladies night" at the Liberty Bar & Grill, and performers will play acoustic music. Hennessy’s hosts DJ Night, featuring dance, hip-hop, and club music. White Star presents Thirsty Thursdays. Live bands will play at Willie McBride’s. There’s live acoustic music at Duffy’s at 8 p.m. Ryan Holiday, In Spite Of and 7 Minds perform at the Whiskey Bar at 9 p.m. for a live recording session. The Push Stars and The Autumn Defense will perform at 9 p.m. at Maxwell’s. Tickets are $10. AJ Azzarto and the New Hoboken Four perform with John Townsend at 9 p.m. at The Goldhawk.

Friday, Nov. 21:

Hyperactive plays the Whiskey Bar at 9 p.m. Anthony’s Cafe & Restaurant is hosting Friday Dance Nights. Beginning at 11 p.m., DJ Emilio from Studio 54 will mix music from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. Liberty Bar & Grill will host live music. The Sushi Lounge features the best in underground house music all night. What the Buck Fridays at Rogo’s from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. All domestic drinks are $1. There’s DJ music at 9 p.m. at Scotland Yard. DJ Tait spins freestyle and "hip-hip" at Ristra after 10 p.m. Admission is $5. It’s karaoke night at the Lamp Post at 8 p.m. It’s late-night Hurricane Happy Hour starting at 10 p.m. at Oddfellows in Jersey City. Hurricanes are $4. The Greenhornes, The Detroit Cobras, and The Witnesses play at Maxwell’s at 9 p.m. Tickets are $13. Bill McGarvey performs at The Goldhawk at 8 p.m. The Yesterdays, Chesterwhite and Cheaper, Faster perform at Uncle Joe’s at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5.

Saturday, Nov. 22:

Damien Jurado and Rosie Thomas play at Maxwell’s at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. They will be followed by the Rev. Beatman, Evil Devil, Gutter Demons and Monkey Butlers at 10 p.m. Tickets are $10. Sopranos star Steven R. Schirripa signs copies of his new book at Barnes and Noble in Hoboken at 1 p.m. Cardia, Killed by the Bull, Spitting Cobras and Houston McCoy perform at Uncle Joe’s at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5. Yo Cuz plays at the Whiskey Bar at 9 p.m. Scotland Yard presents blues jam with Joe Taino from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. DJ Tait spins freestyle and hip-hop at Ristra after 10 p.m. Admission is $5.
