Early this year the lifeless body of little 7-year-old Faheem Williams was found in a storage bin in the house of horrors in Newark, NJ. Several months later the broken body of 8-year-old Stephenie Ramos was found on a trash heap in New York.
The latest tragedy is the starvation of four boys who range in age from 9 to 19 found in the house of shame in Collingswood, NJ. These precious boys were underweight, severely malnourished, had bad teeth, head lice and lived in the hell hole of filth and squalor. These boys deserve much better, but unless our social agencies are adequately funded they will continue to neglect those they aim to protect.
I see no reason why the compassion we so willingly give to the rest of the world cannot be given to our precious children. Instead of living in the deep, dark depth of despair some of our taxpayers’ dollars would enable them to live in a normal, healthy and happy environment.
