The Provident Bank and its employees have launched an image and branding campaign to underscore their re-dedication to providing caring, individualized personal and business banking services to the community.
“With the number of large banking mergers that have taken place, people are frankly worried about not being able to find a friendly, neighborhood bank. As New Jersey’s oldest bank and one of its largest community banks, The Provident Bank can provide all the services people expect today, but with same focus on the individual customer we’ve had since 1839,” said Rebeca Peraza, branch manager.
“We ran a campaign at the 55th Street Branch, located at 5410 Bergenline Avenue in West New York, where we invited the community to visit. Refreshments were served through February 24, and a sweepstakes contest was held awarding American Express gasoline cards to lucky winners.”
The campaign included the introduction of a new name, The Provident Bank, a new logo with a graphic representation of the familiar Provident beehive, and a slogan: “Hassle-Free Banking for Busy People.” “We dropped the word ‘savings’ from our name to show that we’re a full-service bank for business and individual customers,” said Peraza. “We know people are busy, and our approach is to make the banking experience go as smoothly as possible for our customers. We want to help solve their problems, not add to them.”
As part of the campaign, The Provident Bank has designed a series of ads that reflect today’s fast paced life. Additionally, the new logo and slogan will appear on the bank’s stationery, statements, brochures and on banners at all branches.
The Provident Bank, founded in 1839, has 49 branches in northern and central New Jersey.
