Dear Editor:
Knowing that you share my concerns about the 33rd Legislative District, I thought you would be interested to learn that I have been part of the effort to allocate $15 million to repair roads and streets for the safety of all of us.
In addition to that, for the provision of health, education, employment and housing, the City of Union City received $335,694.00; plus $500,000.00 from the Department of Transportation through the Transportation Enhancement Grant Program for projects such as bicycle and pedestrian facilities, landscaping and scenic beautification through my efforts and the help of my colleagues in the State Legislature.
In the past, I have kept you informed about the many millions of dollars that Union City and the rest of the 33rd District received. This year alone Union City received $2.5 million to reduce property taxes.
