Dear Editor:
My family recently suffered a terrible tragedy, the loss of a loved one. So many people came to our aid and assisted us during this terrible time.
We would like to publicly thank some of those people for their kindness and compassion throughout this terrible ordeal. We apologize if we leave anyone out, but know you are all in our thoughts. First to John McKnight of Faillas, you really helped to ease some of our pain during a very difficult time. To our friend Sal Grasso, The Hoboken Fire Department, Grace and the staff of Carlo’s Bakery, Lieutenant Borawski of the Port Authority Police Department, the staff at Anastacia’s Accessories, Mario from the Bar at 10th and Willow, to Liz and Jerry and the staff of Oddfellows Restaurant.
To all of our relatives, aunts, uncles and cousins for their support and generosity. To all of our very close friends, there are too many of you to thank individually, please know how much you mean to us and how much we appreciate all you have done for us. To our second family, The Milnes, we’ve been through it all together and could not have made it through this without all of you. To all of my brother’s friends, old and new, and especially the crew from Pennsylvania.
We would like to especially thank the Hoboken Police Department for all the support you showed us during this very difficult time for me and my family. Once again the Motorcycle Unit shined and showed what true professionals they are. Thank you to all my brothers and sisters at HPD. The loss of a loved one brings with it so much pain; my brother, Anthony would have loved all the support and love shown to him and to us from all of you wonderful people. Once again, from the bottom of all our hearts, we thank you all.
