Dear Editor:
If I may, I’d like to let it be known of special happenings in our community.
This past June over 50 students that graduated from Emerson and Union Hill High Schools were awarded academic and sports scholarships to attend different prestigious universities all over the State of New Jersey and around the country.
Administrators, counselors, teachers and the entire school personnel at both high schools should be commended for working above and beyond their duties.
The families of all graduates were extremely impressed by Mayor Brian P. Stack who gave out a polo shirt to each graduate from his Union City Civic Association. Thanks to this generosity by Mayor Stack over and over in different occasions, our entire community lives in harmony with one another.
