I want to thank The Reporter and Al Sullivan for an outstanding article in the June 29 issue regarding the role of my organization in conducting Ethics Education for Hudson County employees.
Just one point that needs to be clarified: I am not the “head” of the County Ethics Board. My role is to work in conjunction with the Board to increase ethical awareness in Hudson County government. The Board is an independent entity and selects its own chairperson.
Thank you for the prominent space you gave the article “Sundown for Corruption?” Ethics is everyone’s concern and must be in the forefront as our elected and appointed officials work to serve the people of Hudson County.
