Dear Editor:
I want to extend my sincere thanks to the residents of the Sixth Ward whose votes in Tuesday’s runoff City Council election have won me the honor of serving as your Councilman for the next four years. Although the road to victory was a long one with too many missed dinners with my wife and children, I am grateful for being able to meet and connect with so many of my constituents — those I have known for my entire lifetime and many who I met for the first time. My commitment to Hoboken’s future is as strong as ever. The pledges that I made throughout this campaign for preserving our residential neighborhoods, addressing our parking problems and implementing efficiencies in our government will continue to be the main focus of my tenure. I look forward to working with Mayor David Roberts and the entire City Council to ensure that Hoboken continues to be the best home that it can be for all its citizens.
