Dear Weehawken resident:
My name is Ken O’Neill, and I am an Assistant Vice President with the Commercial Real Estate Department of The Provident Bank. My intention in writing this letter is to obtain a photo of what was the Weehawken Trust Bank which was in business many years ago. The point of my request is to obtain a nice picture of the Bank and frame it and make it a gift to a customer who is very successful in real estate development and hotel ownership. He takes pride in telling us over meetings when he meets a new member of The Provident Bank team that his start began with a loan from The Weehawken Bank.
