Dear Editor:
Last night a so-called debate was conducted in your Church meeting hall. It was disgracefully presented and represented fraudulently by three women who claimed to represent the League of Women Voters.
Written questions to the candidates of the Second and Sixth Wards were reworded and rewritten, and fraudulently presented. Many of the public’s questions were deleted, and they turned the evening into a witch hunt, and a showcase for dishonesty and misrepresentation, deliberately and lacking any moral honesty or any semblance of fairness or equality.
All under the guise of democracy; it is not the first time your Church was used in this manner by this group.
It is a continuous process that may eventually result in at least an exorcism to cleanse the room from the lies and distortions of facts, that rear their satanic heads at election time and other times. Of all places in a church.
God’s House should have better representation! I am really surprised that you would allow this kind of conduct, distortion of fact and manipulation of the public in God’s House…or is it still God’s House?
