Dear Editor:
On May 13, the residents of Castle Point Terrace and the 2nd Ward in Hoboken will make a very important choice as to who will represent us on the Hoboken City Council. We need a representative working in our best interest in city government to make sure big institutions like Stevens or big campaign contributors do not make our neighborhood a stepsister to their bigger interest.
John Corea is a man who will represent all the little people of our area, as well as protecting us from what is often referred to as the big picture. John has already demonstrated his firm commitment to Hoboken by his tireless efforts to improve our community. When parking reached a crisis proportion, John developed a plan in cooperation with Stevens to eliminate some of the congestion that make our lives difficult. When snow blocks our streets and sidewalks, John personally uses his snowplow to clear our neighborhood. During this year’s snow storms I personally witnessed John cleaning sidewalks as far away as 10th and Washington. He did not do this just to get votes, he’s been doing things like this to help out his neighborhood ever since we met him.
I encourage everyone in the 2nd Ward to vote for John Corea. He will be a 24/7 City Councilman who will never forget his community.
