Dear Editor:
On Mother’s Day, show you care. Give the gift of love. My Mom is very special to me. She is a unique, loving and caring person. My Mom is funny too. She has a colorful personality like a butterfly’s wing.
I don’t know what I would do without my Mom. She plays such a big role in my life. She is always understanding, cool and calm. She is a good mother and wife. My Mom is very dear to me. She’s sort of my best friend. She can make a rainy day sunny. I hope that friendship never ends. She always encourages me in everything I do. Her happiness always runs like a river. She can make a dark sky turn blue. I will love her always and forever.
I think it’s sad mothers only really get recognized and appreciated once a year which is Mother’s Day; it should be an everyday thing. To all senior citizens that are in nursing homes, God Bless You, and have a Happy Mother’s Day. I want to say your love is a treasure with great utmost and plenty of love for your family on Mother’s Day.
