My clear choices of endorsements for a better Hoboken!

Dear Editor:

I have participated in dozens of elections for School Board, City Council and Mayor, but none have presented such clear choices as this election.

Mayor David Roberts and many of his Hoboken United Council members have failed to lead our town in the right direction. His administration has made hollow promises without any rel results. David Roberts is simply a failure as our Mayor.

In the 1st Ward I am endorsing my good friend Theresa Castellano. Theresa is a councilwoman who keeps her word.

In the 2nd Ward I am endorsing the brightest new face in Hoboken politics, John Corea. He is a man of action, not just promises.

In the 3rd Ward I am endorsing Vincent Addeo. He is a young man with good ideas and a solid track record in representing people.

In the 4th Ward I am endorsing Anthony Mussara. He is a hard worker with a special kind of dedication, which will make him a good representative for his ward.

In the 5th Ward I am endorsing Michael Cricco. His is a solid voice of reason on an otherwise disjointed council.

In the 6th Ward I am endorsing Nino Giacchi. He often speaks his own mind and does not blindly follow his predecessor.

In the election for School Board I am endorsing candidates who will represent the children of Hoboken and not get embroiled in internal politics.

I am endorsing my longtime friend and Hoboken’s most stable and respected public servant, Steve Cappiello.

I am also endorsing two bright young men who have displayed a genuine desire to improve education and give the time and energy needed to fully represent Hoboken’s children. I urge your support for John Madigan and Jose Ponjoan.

Hoboken is a great city that I love. Having spent a lifetime working to make Hoboken a better place to live, I feel compelled to share my thoughts on who would make Hoboken an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
