Dear Editor:
I read some comments on poetry in the North Bergen Reporter.
I have studied English poets like Lord Tennyson, Wordsworth, Byron, Shakesphere, etc. As far as I know the language in the literature may be common and simple that even a worker on the farm or a street beggar can enjoy.
The poem may have a moral lesson or a natural description that may be touching to the heart. It may also have good rhyming with lyric impact.

The Spring
The spring has a moderate weather,
Let us play and get together.
Neither hot nor severe cold,
Let us jump and be so bold.
In the morning we may school,
In the evening go home soon.
Mom and Dad give food to eat,
On the playground let us meet.
We may jump and play a ball,
Get us, run and then to fall.
We may laugh and then to swing,
Sit in a circle, songs to sing.
Clap and dance and let us cheer,
We are free and not to fear.
Then to go home and have a meal,
Talk to mom and dad with zeal.
Read your lessons and go to sleep,
with brother and sister, sleep so deep.
