A legacy of hope for all

Dear Editor:

Being an optimistic person makes me write how I feel because we all want to hear truth and honesty. First I wish everyone happy holidays, especially our men and women of our Armed Forces and to all the senior citizens, even all seniors that are in nursing homes, a place for seniors unable to care for themselves. With hope and love enjoy a festive day with your family or take a vacation; go see your friends. Let’s celebrate this holiday season with candlelight and carol sing-alongs with family and friends. Because it is only once a year; as for me I celebrate my birthday on January 6, 2003, that’s Little Christmas and is one more holiday in my life!

There’s always a little politics I like to talk about. An exchange of views and discussion is important before Congress adjourns and forgets to address the rising cost of prescription drugs and the inability to pass a strong bill. Congress went home and left thousands of poor Americans who vote with no benefit as of yet! We must keep fighting for getter health care. What senator or congressman of New Jersey will go back to Washington and gets more done? Who will be this special politician for this occasion! Many have lost their jobs, we can’t put food on the table, but we Americans give so much to other countries, does this government expect us not to worry with great anxiety. We need success with a legacy of leadership!

Thank you and God Bless America with unity, hope and pride.

P.S. To the staff writers, I wish you all a Happy Holiday season.
