Dear Editor:
I want to publicly congratulate our Congressman Bob Menendez for his great victory in the House of Representatives – being selected to be the Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. Becoming our country’s third highest-ranking Democrat is an honor for our Congressman and for our city and county.
His integrity and character are above reproach and we are proud to have him represent us in the 13th Congressional District, and we are proud to call him our friend. I am sure Bob Menendez’s star will continue to rise.
And, as Bob Menendez continues to ascend the ranks in Washington, he will work to bring the Democratic party together for the good of not only the party, but for the good of our nation. He is admired and respected by all who come to know him and how hard he works for the issues that affect us all. He knows that we must meet the difficult challenges and make hard choices on issues such as homeland security, medical costs, education, the cost of living and transportation.
I wish my friend Bob Menendez the best as he continues to lead our nation in the right direction and I stand ready to help him in any way I can.
