The Fallen Heart of New York

Between the skyscrapers of New York,
Two birds of steel brought down the two
Towers that we call twins

And they were so strong like two giants
and invincible, full of life and color and
in their heart the world of business it shattered,
celebrating day to day the joy of harmony and labor
in its interior

And brothers all united, here in the United States
without differences of age, sex, race, religion and color,
the twins vibrant and full of happiness and love, embracing
the entire world within their heart.

It was a surprise, unexpected the attack to the two towers
in the heart of New York and hurting the entire world.
The two twin towers began to cry and the pain was so
strong that its poor hearts began to explode. And defeated
by the pain of its twisted metal and without strength and
will due to the flames, defeated by the intoxicating smoke
its lungs destroyed. The little giants that like children
visited every day, trying to escape the flames and
destruction, jumping one by one from the highest point
without being able to resist the fire, and forgetting fear,
that is how I saw them die.

As such the two twin towers, defeated by the pain between
the fire and the ashes of its own destruction, they fell one
by one in the heart of New York and slowly dying, the souls
cry and die united under the earth. Fire and ashes covering
its pain, of having been destroyed by the two birds of steel
that usurped the skies of New York.

Today the sky is crying and we ask God that with his power
makes divine justice and that he never permit the enemy to
use our land, ocean and sky. Here in the United States and
where the world cries the fallen twins, New York.
