Dear Editor:
The reason I am writing is I don’t think it is fair for the West New York Police Department to give the New Jersey Transit buses a ticket for blocking the crosswalk, and how do I know that a New Jersey Transit bus driver got a ticket because I know a few of the drivers and this one told me that he was given one for blocking the crosswalk. Now let me tell you I am on Bergenline Avenue every day and I see those vans blocking the crosswalks and the police see this also. Then what is good for the goose should be good for the gander as well.
I also think that each town in Hudson County should ban those vans that take almost all of New Jersey Transit bus business away. Those vans always cut the buses off and pick up other customers that are NJ Transit customers.
So one day I hope that they take away all of these vans, and New Jersey Transit should get more buses and put these vans out of business for good.
