Wishing for peace

Dear Editor:

My fellow senior citizens:

On Sunday morning I watch talk shows on television where politicians all pledge opinions with vision of success like they are ready to perform and understand what is being said. I am an optimistic person that believe a symbol is trust and truth. The host should invite an open lecture and have the public speak on shows to respond to questions of the politicians, answer our opinions and conform to their best capability of being right or wrong. This is America. You speak with honesty and straightforwardness. That’s the best policy we need to hear! My seniors, it time for election in November we must elect someone who will help all the population of senior citizens with an agenda that’s serious about helping working families with an increase in the minimum wage and no lay-off of employees! With fighting crime, promise the pubic honest trust for a job well done. As for myself I am what I am an Italian American Senior Citizen, a World War II Veteran having served in Germany with love for my country. Fighting for seniors will continue because we are human beings and clearly I believe freedom is not free. Mayor, our city is stronger but we need to continued crackdown on crime for all the people of this great city acting through a secret police force!

I have one thing to say, I believe if you tell the truth, you don’t need a good memory! And let’s not forget September 11! God Bless America and our men and women serving in our armed forces.
