Current Exchange

Send short, interesting missives to: editorial@hudsonreporter.com. Or write: Current, 1400 Washington St., Box 3069, Hoboken, NJ. If we don’t get enough letters, we get upset and then make them up, so please write to Current editor Eugene Mulero. Answering our own letters is no fun.

Attention all Current readers…write us a letter about hanging out in Hudson County, your new job, your favorite restaurant or story in the paper. Movie fan

The Back East film festival was great. I got to see funny movies like “HR Pukenshette.” Do you think some of the movies will get major exposure? — Jason, Bayonne

I think “The Russian Job,” “This Thing of Ours,” and “Mr. Rose” will get more exposure in the near future. The quality of movies at the festival was tremendous.

Saturday night parking

Where is the best place to park in downtown Hoboken on a Saturday night? — Vanessa, Union City

I’ve noticed that if you go to one of the garages before 11 p.m., you’ll find parking (duh). But also, try going to Sinatra Drive or by Jefferson or Madison streets.

Where’s JoAnne?

Was that essay last week about JoAnne leaving true? – JoAnne fan

Some of it was. We’re not sure if she’s going to be a full-time potter.
