In response to your complaint regarding activities in and around the club Sand Bar, our fine police department has informed me that the following measures have been taken:
A midnight patrol car has been assigned to take decibel readings periodically and has in fact issued summonses.
Units on the midnight tour have been advised to check the area for illegal activities and title 39 violations.
Liberty Harbor Marina and Dry Dock has hired off duty personnel to ameliorate the traffic congestion from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m.
I trust that these actions have helped alleviate your concerns, and I encourage you to continue your anonymous effort to help keep Jersey City the proud place we call home!
