A Poem for World Trade Center

With Tender Care

WTC

I will see in the land of liberty

As the burning towers

In the early morning hours (8:48 am)

On September 11 among the dust

All was crushed

Everything was smoking while our hearts are broken

To Ground Zero where many heroes

Who have fallen and that kiss which will be missed

Nothing will be the same but the pain

For those cowards who destroyed our hours?

WTC

I will see our liberty

Where people are free

As we heal from the pain

Nothing but the pain

Nothing will be the same

As we look at the walls where teardrops fall

In honor of our loved ones we used to kiss

Who in our hearts will truly be missed?

God Bless now and forever and ever!
