Dear Editor:
Tragedy has struck the hearts and homes of us all – We never imagined we’d see so many [too many] fall.
Yet on that day now burned in our hearts – All those morning good-byes became their final departs.
Gutless cowards came and devastated our lives – Taking from us mothers, fathers, siblings, husbands and wives.
Now we stand with tear filled eyes and mouths agape – Wondering, waiting, praying will anymore victims escape.
And as minutes become hours and hours become days – Our nations heroes continue to search with love — not looking for praise.
But it is our heartfelt praise we give unto them – For it is from their love our nations rebirth will stem.
And although no amount of time will ever erase our pain – The outpouring of love and support is rendering AMERICA – A NATION ONCE AGAIN.
