Dear Residents of Hoboken:
As mayor of our great city, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mayor-elect David Roberts and Council-at-Large members-elect Tony Soares, Ruben Ramos, Jr. and Carol Marsh for their victory in the municipal election held Tuesday.
Serving as your mayor has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. During these past eight years, I have fulfilled many of the hopes and dreams that I had when I first entered public life. Everyone who has contributed over the years should share in the pride of our accomplishments.
This campaign was hard fought and very emotional. But now, the campaign is over. And I want to thank every single individual who contributed on my behalf. I truly appreciate your involvement and your dedication to Hoboken.
With the transition of government ahead, I offer my sincere congratulations to the new administration entering City Hall.
