Dear Editor:
I want to thank Mayor Anthony Russo and his administration for once again demonstrating that they care about the residents of Hoboken.
The diversion of non-resident commuter traffic from the north around Hoboken is simply a good idea. Why should the residents of Hoboken be burdened by the onslaught of over 4,000 non-resident drivers each workday?
I get the same feeling from the mayor’s plan as I did when he closed Hoboken during the terrible blizzard of 1994. It’s a feeling of safety and that’s good!
