Dear Editor:
Where were the neighbors all those years ago when this monstrosity garage was first proposed as the panacea for all of the parking problems of Hoboken?
Now, after millions of your tax dollars have been squandered (and probably ended up in the personal coffers at city hall) you understand that there were those who researched, learned and tried to prevent this boondoggle. Where were you when some of your fellow citizens tried to influence the parking authority and your city officials that this was a huge mistake? Now they are trying to do the same thing on Clinton Street (which was the deciding factor in my decision to leave my Clinton Street home).
Are you all going to let this fiscal ineptitude and foolish use of your hard-earned money continue? Wake up Hoboken and throw the rascals out!!
