Dear Editor:
Brian Stack is proving that he will eventually solve what ails Union City. His dedication, his constant drive to find answers and his practically 24-hour a day on-the-scene style is a breath of fresh air.
Mayor Stack deserves all of our cooperation. He is proving worthy of all the help we can give him, from helping him to keep our city clean, to obeying the laws, to reporting wrong doing when we witness it.
I hope the State of New Jersey gives Union City financial aid to help him stabilize taxes the way they did for Jersey City, Harrison and other communities. I mean real aid, not just a small amount. After all, we have a mayor who is trying hard to do the right thing, cutting expenses and reorganizing city government. Surely that must count for something.
